Twenty-seven year old identical twin sisters, Brie and Jenny Maletz, founded BREN in Los Angeles in 2010. “BREN” is a childhood nickname made up of Brie and Jenny’s first names and reflects the sisters’ nearly inseparable relationship. The Southern California natives attended fashion design school in New York and London, before returning home to the West Coast. BREN is produced entirely in Los Angeles in an effort to support local businesses.
